hey yall ive been having this problem concerning the starter ....i just instlled a new starter in my ride BUT now it aint cranking ....it powers on ( air conditioner, stereo, lights etc) but no crank unless we push it and pop the clutch ...but since we put the new one in its still doing the same problem....HELP!!!! oh yeah incase its a 1991 civic dx hatch D15b2 standard...

1) Check whether fuse 31 or 32 in the main fuse box is blown.

2) If the fuses are fine, then use a test light or multimeter to test whether the starter is receiving battery voltage at terminals B and S (picture 1) when the ignition key is turned to the ON position. Also test whether the B and S connectors, as well as the ground wire, are tightly connected and making good electrical contact.

3) If the starter is receiving battery voltage and the connections are fine, then perform the test in picture 2.

4) If the test in picture 2 fails, then check the starter solenoid (pictures 3 and 4).
