Default Starting Problem

Ok so here goes. I have a 1999 Honda Civic DX, Having problems starting it and keeping it running. Once I get it started it acts like it is starving for gas. Replace fuel filter, plugs and dist & rotor. Not the relay had that checked. Any ideals? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

do you have a check engine light on? if so what is the code? did you replace the cap and rotor or the whole distributor, cap, and rotor?

Does it drive OK, just not idle? Or will it also not go properly when you put it in gear and step on the gas?

In the first case, it is probably a dirty or stuck IACV.

Thank you I check the distributor cap and it was toast. Also changed the fuel filter. Runs great.
