Default stereo installtion, help removing wire clips!

Hi, I need some help! I'm trying to remove my factory head unit on my 99 civic sedan. In order to remove the center bracket with the radio in it, I have to unplug the blue and brown wiring connectors from the rear. However, I can't remove the wires because there are plastic clips attaching them to the metal frame. How do I remove these? Thanks!

nevermind, I figured out how to disconnect the wiring harnesses for the environmental controls from the back of the control box. It was a real PITA and I have no idea how I'm going to manage to plug them back in, but oh well.

oh yeah, I found half of a broken CD sitting in the wiring area. I have no idea how the previous owner managed to do that, haha.
