Removing Stereo?!?
Hello,
I have a 2Door 94 Civic EX. There is a security system on the stereo that came with the car, where if the battery dies, you have to enter a sec. code in order to get the stereo back on. The problem is, that the last time I got my car washed, I accidentally threw out my cheat sheet with the code on it. Anyway, I've been told that it's on the back of the stereo, if you remove it - but I don't want to pay someone $100 to remove my stereo.
How do I push it out myself?
Thanks for your help!

pull the center console peice with the ash tray and cig lighter in it out. It should be 4 screws. Then there should be 1 or 2 8mm or phillips screws near the back of the deck. pull those out and the deck should slide out.
Or take like 10 bucks and go the the bay of a local audio shop and ask an installer to do it for you. If your cute he maight do it for free, but Id still charge you.
