Well, I used some carb cleaner and tried cleaning it. Didn't seem to work. It doesn't stick when I push it in fast, only slow. When I try to slowly accerate. I went to Honda and they told me just to clean it and if it continues that they'll have to replace the entire throttle body or something like that. $500.

Do you think it could be an issue with anything else that could be sticking slightly?

 

You probably just need a new cable. I don't think the throttle body will have any sticking problem other than when coming off of idle. Does the car have cruise control? That could be interfering with the throttle action too.

 

It does indeed have cruise. I was thinking of that as well but don't wanna mess with it and have it all screwed since I'm not very mechanicle.

 

take the cable off the TB and slowly step on the pedal... if it is still sticky then get a new cable, if not then it could be your TB sticking somehow... hope that helps
