My car has been working fine, drove it yesterday. I got into my car just now and tried starting it, and I heard a weird noise then it just kept turning over but not starting. The lights are all coming on including my battery light, abs, etc, but I can't seem to get it started. I was pushing my accelerator and it almost caught but it just won't seem to start. Is this a battery issue? Could my alternator be busted? I replaced my battery 3 years ago. Please help I really need my car to start!

 

Sounds like a dead battery or a bad ground.

 

how old is your car? was the alternator ever replaced?
