i just wanted to know how hard it would be to swap an automatic to a standard in a 95 civic ex?

tranny swaps are pretty difficult if you are a first timer. you have to switch you the trannies and also do some interior fab to get the shifter in there and fit. Pete has had an auto-manual done before so you might want to get more information from him.
