So I'm looking into buying a 93 hb with a b18b1 motor and a ls tranny. The guy says the engine/trans have 100k on it. Not too bad I spose. Problem is he says 2nd gear grinds a little at high rpms. I'm told that it has something to do with the sychro on the tranny. Is this fixable in any way? Something to do with the ECU maybe? And if so how much is it going to cost? I should mention that this car is mint. Interior could use a little work but the price he wants is pretty good. However if I have to dump a ton of money into it to make sure everything runs real smooth I'm not gonna do it. Anyways thanks for the help in advance!
