I know its been asked before ive done searching and cannot find anything that helps .......unless i missed it but yea I got the 3 easy wires hooked up blk orange and red.......well that darn green wire is what im wondering about how where would the best place to put it be? something simple that is......any quick replies of help are greatly appreciated since once i get this done for him he can have a car again lol.

P.S. wires are already in the engine bay so if there is a wire in there that would work that would be great thank you...and he has a 93 dx hatch

All the wires you need are in the stock wiring harness going to the cluster. Get the diagramfor the model you have, should show how the stock tach would be wired if it had one.

does your current tach that is on the cluster not work or what?? if it does work why the hell do you wanna rice your car out. you are not going to gain anything by getting a bigger tach. now if your car does not have one then thats cool but why waist your time its not cool!

this is actually a pillar tach and my friend didnt listen to me when i had a guage cluster with a tach saying that he already has one ......so yea i sold it and now i gotta do work for him....

Just hook them in parallel, same wire function to same wire, and then PRAY that they read the same or you've got some explaining to do....

I dont understand what you said right there what wire.....im trying to figure out what wire i need to hook up the green wire to so the tach works correctly

What does the green wire do? Ignition pulse? If so connect it to the wire at the cluster that is shown on the diagram as providing the ignition pulse toa stock tach.
