temp control cable , im freezing
hey wuts up everybody, i jus bought a 97 civic coupe n some stupid *** had cut the temp control cable, i know ill have to replace this but is there a way around it to control it without the cable until i can get it fixed right. please let me know , thnx
well which cables been cut the one under the hood or under the dash?
if its just the one under the dash simply look under the glove box towards the center of the dash and move the linkage all the way towards you. now if its the one going to the engine bay im not sure which way is open... so youll just have to move the valve back and forth with the motor warmed up and feel for heat going thu the 2 heater hoses...
fairly simple really.or if thats to hot for you move it about half way to give ya medium temp.

Hey, I replaced the heater core on my 2000 Civic HX and realized that this cable was still disconnected. After contorting with a flashlight and getting video with my cellphone I finally found the end of the cable and connected it here, but nothing moves when I adjust the temperature ****. Is something loose inside?
Broken?
Do I need to remove the dash and heater core again?!
