i have an 88 honda civic that i use to get back and fourth to work. about 2 weeks ago the needle on the temp gauge showed hot but the car wasnt over heating. i checked the water levels were fine. the oil just got changed. it doesnt run any different than before, but more often since that 1st time the temp says hot. please help.

 

put a new temp sensor on it, its located under the distributor, has 1 wire going to it

 

ill go and buy the part this morning and do as you said. ill let you know how it goes. thx
