Thermostat help
I have a 1995 Civic CX. It takes a long, long time on cold mornings before the heater will blow warm air. Even this morning, it was 30 degrees, and I drove 5 miles before it was even a little bit warm. The car has always operated this way. A year ago I changed the thermostat. It did not help. Can anyone tell me if I can do anything so I'll have heat quicker?
I have a 2007 Accord, and it blows warm air much quicker after start up.

Mine takes a long time to heat up too. It's normal. Some cars have a program in the ECU that after a cold start, it intentionally runs the engine very inefficiently to warm it up faster. I don't think the old Civics do that.
Honda has built such efficient and small motors that they don't put off a lot of heat and therefore take longer to heat up. Unlike most inefficient american motors which heat up fast but coolant temperature is constantly fluctuating and are more prone to overheat in extreme conditions.
