Default ticking

my 95 lx 4dr has a light ticking sound coming from the engine bay i had a lincoln mark 8 that did that it was the lash connectors does a civic have those? if not what could be the prob? (im new to the honda world)

there are valve adjustments where the rocker arm meets the top of the valve at the spring. think that is to be checked something like every 20,000.
dont know if that could make a click if something was not right, or not.

is it when you turn the car off or while its running? if its after you turn it off it is probably just the cast iron exhaust manifold cooling down, if its during the car running then its probably a rocker arm that just needs adjusting, i know my car does tick and i know its the valve lash needs to be tightened up a tad bit...
