timing belt kit
im new to the civic world. just got a 95 civic ex coupe with 1.6 and has 178,xxx on it and am planning on doing a belt swap asap. is this kit good?

That's a pretty thorough kit. If you just want to do the timing belt, all you need is the T-belt, water pump and gasket, and belt tensioner.
With that kit, you'll be replacing the valve cover gaskets, seals, belts, etc. as well. It's all good maintenance, but it may not be necessary. So it's your call. Peace of mind is a good thing though.
By the way, if you haven't found the factory service manual online yet, here is a link to the direct download. It's zipped up, but it's a PDF copy of the same manual used by Honda techs. It's an invaluable tool for people who like to work on their own cars. It contains diagrams, specs, directions, everything.
