trans ?
alright so im sure some of you had read my last post about my trans. leak. it was leaking out the drivers side cv joint so i got a new oil seal installed it wrong pulled it out and did it right and it is still leaking except worse now lol so i have gave up and i would like to know what years of dx trans. will fit in my car. i have a 93 dx coupe 5-speed btw
lol no i did not use a new seal for the second install however both time i put it in it leaked out of other spots instead for example the second install instead of leaking out of that seal it started leaking out the other side i've just had enough i found another 93 dx trans for 100 bux that doesn't leak what do you think? also note that im a baddie when it comes to cars
Well if it's leaking from the other side, just replace that seal as well, now that you know how.
$100 is a good price though even at higher prices from reputable places, the seller is just going to laugh at you if you wanted your money back because of a seal leak. If I were putting in a used transmission I'd install a set of new axle seals into it first anyway just to be sure of a longer time without leaks.

Since im going to replace my seals AGAIN i would like some advice when i put the seal in the 1st time it was flush with the trans. i put in the cv and the seal went into the trans. about a inch wtf how am i supposed to do this right?
