My check engine light comes on when V-tec hits and i got my car checked with a computer diagnotsics and it said the oil pressuire is incorrect and something about the clip... its the whole solenoid bad or what?

 

vtec is nothing more than a third rocker arm kicking in per cylinder at extra high rpms.

the rocker arms are actuated by oil pressure. the solenoid controls the oil pressure.

as far as the "clip" i have no idea? lol.

your engine ecu may be bad or needs to be reset.
