Default Valve adjustment

Anyone adjust or had your valves adjusted? If so, how many miles were on your Civic at the time? I'm hearing that over time, the valves get a bit noisy and need to be adjusted.

It's a relatively straightforward job. Remove the valve cover and upper timing belt cover. Turn the crank to TDC1, 2, 3, or 4 to adjust the intake and exhaust valves using a feeler gauge. If your 97 Civic has never had a valve job, then now is a good time to do it.

Thanks. How often would you say the valves need to be adjusted? I have a bit over 120,000 miles on my Civic.

In my opinion, checking the valve clearance every 30K miles would be a good idea.
