Default valve stem bolt

alright i think its called a valve stem bolt, but anyway its the bolts that hold the valve cover in place...

i was changing my valve cover gasket today because it was leaking ever so slightly
so i get it off do it all good blah blah blah... when the time comes to tighten the very last bolt, i guess i tightened it way too much and snap-o! faaaannnntastic

The peice i need to get out is not sticking out, its kinda in there like 1/8"

im thinking of using a left-handed drill bit with the drill in reverse and try to get in there and rotate it out at the same time, the bolts are not very snug in the holes anyway so i figure it might work

any better/more suggestions or things i should watch out for??

suppose to get the right size easy-out and use the appropriate size drill bit to drill and then use the easy-out.
dont know if that stud is big enough to drill into it and apply the easy-out ??

If you can hit the broken stud with a center punch or ***** punch...DO IT. The start with a small drill bit and work up in size. It's better to take your time then to blast through the threads and ruin something. If it went in easy, it will hopefully break loose and come back out.
