Vibration issues
What's up HCF....I am running a 94 civic Dx with coilover suspension...and real bad toe in the front but I'm in the process of installing my camber kit and getting the alignment adjusted..my question is I looked at a few things with no luck but when I get the kit installed and the alignment done will this fix the vibration issue??...it starts at about 40mph and when I let go of the wheel it turns back and forth then just pulls to the right..I just don't want any suprises when I finally get the kit and alignment done..what's else would cause the car to shake and vibrate that much??...it feels like the wheels will fall off when I get around 60mph..any info will help..
The toe is probably what's pulling the wheel to the right. But that'll get fixed when your alignment's done, since that's an adjustment at the tie rods.
How long have you been driving with the current set of coilovers?
How old are the tires that are on the car? If they've seen a lot of miles with worn shocks (or bushings), they're probably cupped which is causing vibration. Run your hand along the tread, and see if it's evenly worn. If it feels lumpy, there's your culprit.

Ah - that's your problem.
When you get new tires, I'll bet the vibration goes away. But definitely get an alignment (and install those camber plates) soon after the new tires are installed so you don't wear out the inside edge with camber, or scrub the whole tire with the bad toe.
And no shame buying used suspension components in my book. I've done it several times myself.
