Just swapped a d15 vtec in my lx and planning on putting in the p28 ecu and wiring up the vtec, but i was just wondering if i could keep the p06 ecu and get a vtec controaler to engauge the vtec at 5500rpm? Just a question....

 

the p06 is a non vtech ecu and a controller wont put vtech in the ecu it just lets you adjust the ecu at what ever rpms you have.
