Vtec controller

I know this may sound dumb.....but can anyone explain to me what a Vtec controller does and how it works. Thanks

A vtec controller is spliced in to your existing computer harness and overrides the vtec controller part of the computer allowing you to change when it is activated.

not to mention that a big cam will hurt your low end power no matter what you do to the A/F ratios.
