unless you there was a swap before you bought the car you dont kno about, it should be a d16y8 which is a vtech motor but usually only says honda on the valve cover. the stamp can be found on the block about two inches fron the top of the block in the front left of the exhaust manifold. its on a 1.5 x1.5 inch (estimate) square. it shouldnt be hard to find. its a decent engine and dont let anyone tell you other wise. i had an 00 civic ex coupe and it had the stock engine. i turboed it with the edelbrok proformerx kit rc injectors apexivafc and some head internals oh and block gaurd and my civic was VERY fast it ran like maybe a 14.5. thats jsut a guessi never tracked it. oh and thast with a system

In order to put Mugen on the Cover they first had to get concent
No, they just had to get a decent line art file of the logo and send it to a machine shop.

I know but the people that don't believe I have a VTEC are the same people who wouldn't even know what that is
If they don't even know what it is, then at that point you just tell them "alright" and walk away. Straight ignore them.
