Default water in my car

Hi,

I have a 90 hatch, and I keep finding water in the spare tire area. The hatch, & window seals look good. Has anyone had this problem before, or know how to fix it?

Thanks

Here is a little tip my teacher gave me. Take all of the stuff out of the trunk, including any trim and carpet. Once the bare metal is exposed, get ALL the water out. It should be bone dry. Then get some foot powder (or a similar powder substance) and sprinkle it all over the trunk where the leak is. Where ever the water is seeping in from, you will see the trail. Its pretty ingenious if you ask me, i have no idea how he comes up with this stuff.

you also could shove 1 of your friends in the trunk with a flashlight--the hose down the back of the car with water & have him look around with the flashlight
