Default what could be my problem

i got my headers, test pipe, and exhuast put on and my car sounded and ran great. when vtec kicked in it ripped.... sounded so good. Then my check engine light came on and the crossover wasnt there anymore. The computer says that my 2nd o2 sensor is bad.... anyone know where i can get a dumby o2 sensor or an advaced one for cheep. i think this will solve my problem

The problem is definitely the test pipe. It's not a real cat, so the o2 sensor readings wont be right. Hence the check engine light. When you have a check engine light, the car is put in limp mode. Vtec is disabled.

I'd put a real, quality hi-flow cat on there to save the environment. It's probably better for your mpg to have the computer calculating actual figures, not dummy numbers.

Failing that, there are dummy o2 sensors out there. I wouldn't know where to get them.

Get a catalytic converter, not an O2 simulator.

that test pipe isnt getting you any more hp, and your polluting the air. Plus its illegal.

and it makes your car sound like garbage.... i would suggest putting a cat its not expensive at all or hard to install

Tricking your car with dummy o2 sensor is kinda stupid i think

If it's like GM's OBD2, you either need a real cat or an O2 simulator. Theres tons of articles out there on the web on how to build your own O2 sim.
