what is the best oil for my car? im going to change it myself its 1998 honda civic ex with 98,000 miles on it...thanks

The correct oil weight is 5W30. I recommend using Castrol GTX (conventional oil) or Mobil1 full synthetic. And of course a Honda OEM filter either the part# 15400-PLM-A02 or the S2000 filter part# 15400-PCX-004. The oil capacity is 3.5qts.

yea mobil1 full synthetic is great. I'm using Royal Purple, but it's pretty expensive so i'd recommend the mobil1. I don't mind the extra 5 bucks over the price of a gallon of mobil1 for a gallon of RP though.
