Default What are these codes for?

I have recently bought my first car which is a 97 Civic DX Hatchback with 190k miles. It came with some issues. Replaced all four tie rods.. did the passenger axle. Changed the spark plugs. Tune up.. but the check engine light is on. My friend was kind enough to see what codes are coming up and we got this:

P1298
P0301
Cylinder 1 misfire
Cylinder 2 misfire
P0302
Cylinder 3 misfire
P0303
P1300
P1399

would anyone explain what's going on here?
The issue at hand is.. when I'm at a red light or I'm idling.. the car begins to fail. As if the car wants to turn of. Not sure how to exactly explain it but it shakes a little and you can perfectly hear it if your standing behind the muffler. Who knows.. it can be the AC compressor because I have yet to replace that. But even with the AC off it still fails while idling. Other than that the car has been running fine. It's only when I'm idle that it gives problems.

A/c shouldn't have much to do with the idle until it is on. with that said, this is not my expertise. To me, it sounds like an air idle control issue, or a spark issue. The misfire codes seem to put me closer to the spark/ignition problems. If your timing (mechanical and distributor timing) is good, that helps narrow things.
