wheel bearing

alright. so i went to autozone and bought new wheel bearing and i also borrowed a ball joint seperater, wheel bearing puller and a ball joint press. what im wondering is how do i take the wheel bearing out? i looked in my hayns manual and it just tells me how to take the axle nut off. not really helpful. thanks a lot guys. oh btw i drive a 98 civic ex and im changing my front bearings.

You need a big hydraulic press (someday I'll own one...) to do this. You can save some money by taking the knuckle assembly off of the car yourself then taking it to a shop to have them press it.
