Hello, I have read and read before I did my first time ever wheel bearings replacement. I have a Honda Civic, 2002 Ex 2 Dr coupe. I messed up 1 bearings before I got the second one pressed in correctly using a hydraulic press that I purchased from E bay. During Installation, I had some problems and I have the following concerns:

1) The knuckle opening where the bearing sits got scored a little in one spot, Is this a serious issue??
2) I got really tired towards the end and I forgot to install the splash guard. How critical is this?

Do I need to redo this whole job again? any help is appreciated. Thanks
