What year Civic do you have? Is a power lock module the same as a power lock actuator (see picture here and in next post)? If not, I think you have a faulty lock actuator in the door.

Lock actuators commonly fail. After removing the door panel, test whether the actuator is receiving power when you push the switch to either the LOCK or UNLOCK position. To do this, unplug the actuator connector (see picture) and then touch the probes of a test light or multimeter onto each of the two metal contacts in the switch-side connector. (Note: When using a multimeter, you may need to switch probe positions in the connector because LOCK and UNLOCK have reversed circuit polarity) You should detect voltage at the connector when the lock switch is pushed to both the LOCK and UNLOCK position. If this test shows that the actuator is receiving power, then chances are good that the actuator needs to be replaced.
