Window Issues
Okay, so as of today I've replaced the passenger door's window motor & regulator, AND the master switch on the driver's door. The passenger's window is still ridiculously slow (slightly faster when the passenger switch is used), and sometimes won't go up period. Now there's a little plug in the driver's door that I've had trouble with before. It has caused the driver's side window to malfunction. But a simple reassuring press on the plug has solved that problem.
The local shop told me I had a bad ground in the master switch. He said he only got 3 volts from it instead of 12, and that replacing it would fix it...well NO didn't happen.
Anyone know what to do a/b my passenger window??

See if you're getting close to 12 volts at the window motor (measure between the 2 wires) when activated. If not measure across each component to see where you're losing it. Could have a bad power or ground feed to the master switch.
Some models have a window control unit, and the switches handle only low level signals. I assume yours is not one of those. Do you hear clicking under the dash when operating the windows? That would be the window control unit.

I have the RS-860 alarm/window/door lock/horn control unit box in my door panel. Yes, I hear it click when I push the window buttons...that's what the guys at the shop were listening for. It's there, just the window isn't behaving right..
I think I'm going to go up there tomorrow after work, and sit with them as they test EVERYWHERE to see where I'm losin' power. Do you think the relay could be bad??
I've been lookin @ this to see if it's any help: http://www.pcmofo.com/pictures/alarm.bmp

The alarm system doesn't seem to be part of the power window circuit (unless incorrectly wired).
The power window control unit is integrated into the driver's master switch, so the power control unit is unlikely to be the problem.
A faulty power window relay would affect all window operation, so the relay is also unlikely to be the problem.
I recommend that you test the passenger's window switch because the driver's switch control of the passenger window is mediated through the passenger window switch.

So that box in the driver's door shouldn't have anything to do with it...but would the fact that my remote can roll the windows down & open my doors have anything to do with that box actually being a part of the system? OR is there another reciever somewhere in the car that I haven't found??
Since the car came like this, it leaves me without knowing how everything was done...

Sorry, when I glanced at the alarm system circuit diagram at the link you posted, I missed the connection to the window circuit. So, yes the alarm system could be the cause. I would suggest that you also check the passenger switch, however.
Yeah, I just printed off your chart. I'm checking that switch later today when I get off work. I don't see anywhere that says windows in that diagram I posted. But my car is FAR from stock so there's surprises around every corner...and just b/c I hear that box click when I operate the windows is what leads me to believe something's been changed from that diagram.
I just got a call from my friend that works at honda. He said he'll look at it with me tonight. The shop I went to has had me replace the motor and master switch now with no good results. It's time for something different.
If only there were more hours in a day.

Had my window looked @ today..the little black relay box was the problem the whole time. The pins in the plug are burnt out....
SO, anyone know where I can find those DEI boxes? I've got a viper remote if that helps.

Where is the window relay box you found that was causing the problems? I have issues with my 2000 Civic EX Coupe passenger side window. The window moves ridiculously slow and sounds like it just needs a place to go die. I'm planning on checking the switches and the window position in the track, but wanted to know where this relay is located to check while I'm in there.
Thanks...
Richard
