Alright guys, I'm looking for some potential members for the new car club here in Greenville Michigan. (30-45 min from grand rapids). If we get some guys in Grand Rapids we could start a chapter of the club there and have one in greenville. the club is "Built Not Bought Car Club Of West Michigan". Right now we are just getting the club rolling. Logo is still under construstion (I think i finished it tonight) Weve got about 10-15 people that want to join up right now. The cars we want are good looking cars (lol obviously) I mean like not really stock cars but cars that will turn heads wether its loud audio nice rims paint job or just all out nice car. Just to inform you dont get all stressed and not want to join but yes i am part president and i am only 15. BUT dont let that turn you away im not one of those kids that has there parents buy everything for them and are all stuck up. my car is still in the shop, ive worked everyday 9-5 of my summer break. bought whats on it and did it all myself (excluding painting/bodywork). My car might not be done for this year. I get my license in January. I've already gone to many car shows so im not new to the stuff. I've been working with cars all my life so its not just some kid who wants a cool car club. any other questions just ask and i will let you know. If we start a club in GR we already might have a leader for the part. A buddy of mine works at Modified FX he has a 2005 Scion. We have all different kinds of cars that will be in it. but it would be nice to have some good civic/tuners. To inform you my car is a 94 civic 2 dr. full EVO 3 body kit, Vadar 2 wing, custom Ice white paint, Motor is b-16 bottem and top are acura integra heads, theres alot more in it and to come so stay tuned. As of today my car is about half way sanded and has about half the body kit on. Tomorrow body kit will be finished along with sanding. If you are interested in joining or have any other questions. So you need flashy body kits and riiimmmmzzzzzz to be in it eh. Too bad, cause the majority of the "good cars" around this area, all have low key exteriors. No offense man, but no one gives respect anymore to the average civic with a body kit. It's whats on the inside that counts.

Side note, have you guys ever been to the Sear's Auto lot in Grand Rapids? There was a pack of cars that rolled in there all together a couple weekends ago, just wondering whether or not that was your club.

 

I'm not saying you need a body kit and rims, just not stock...and no it wasnt our club. heres my car as is sits tonight when I left the shop. the back quarter panel has been sanded and the white **** in the corner is fiber glass from were i had to sand out a notch in my side skirt for it to fit. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/...6/ed35e6b4.jpg

 

dude your "buddy" who works at modified is a ******. and you can tell him i said that too lol. no just playing, i work with ed and he is a pretty cool guy. he can be a little bit goofy sometimes though. you should stop by sometime and check the place out and buy something fun (im such a good salesman) but ya, come down on a tuesday or thursday and we can check out each others rides. i have a 89 crx si.

 

what time of day do you work on tues/thurs? I might have to swing out visit one of these days.
