That's right. There is a quack, quack, quack, coming from the engine compartment. My trustworthy repair garage said it was a worn spot in the timing belt and since it was time to get a new one anyway I did it. To no effect. I still have my fowl effect. It sometimes goes away but generally is there. Anybody have an idea what it is? tom b

 

You're going to have to be more specific than "quack quack quack." I'll help if I can.

 

How many miles does the car have and were did you take it to get it fixed

 

Pop the hood and try to narrow the sound down make sure the sterio is off sometimes the altinater will make your sterio act or make odd sounds if it its no wired correctly.

 

Check to make sure none of the belts are too tight/too loose.
