I recently purchased a 1989 civic hatchback. It has a d15b2 with a bad head and lower end in it. I was able to find a2000 model d16y7 in our local junk yard with only about 15,000 miles on it. Is this going to be a rough swap? What kind of transmission issues am I going to run into? and what about using the MPFI that is currently on the d16y7. I have done plenty of changeouts and swaps in Escorts and numerous chevy's but this will be my first Honda to own and swap. I'm just looking to see what I have gotten myself into.
