Hello Honda techies,

I have a Civic 2001 with manual transmission. In the past couple of weeks it feels as if shifting has become "dense." Shifting to any gear use to go smoothly with no resistance. Now, every time I try to shift it seems that I am pushing the stick shift into something much denser--a lot more resistance. I did not experience gears slipping or not being able to put the car into a particular gear. It's just become a very dense matter.

Any suggestions?
