front struts problems

I have a 03 Civic SI with lowering springs and stock struts, but the problem its with the front struts that are very sensitive on all bumps on the road, I just want to know if I have to change the struts o get a full coilover kit I was thinking to buy tokico hp struts or buy a skunk2 pro coilover kit. Please help me
