Hello,
My name is Aaron. I have owned my 91 civic hatchback for 4 years now and love it. It runs great and the only work I have had to do on it thus far is a general tune up, replace timing belt, and a cam gasket. The body on it does need a lot of work and I have found a 89 hatchback in much beter condition only lacking the engine and transmission. Can I pull the good engine and tranmission form my car and place it in the 89?

 

hi welcome , yea any 88-91 civic is all the same, now only thing thats a difference but can be wired, is on the si models they come with mpfi, and the reg models like the dx has the dpfi.
