welcome to the site. i saw an article in a tuning mag about one of the writers that had a early 90's cav, this guy had all sorts of mods, built motor, FI, spray, according to the magazine this cav was hitting low 12's. so it can be done with a *gasp* cav (but who'd want to?) heh heh. to each his own man, and good luck.

man things change when youre not around. i see ya 90 civtegra, moderatin, go ahead.

hey remington i think i recognize that sig. hmm

well...a 90 cav is alittle differnt than a newer one.....but when i dropped my engine in i was running 14.3 1/4 and 9.1 1/8 with an intake and exhaust . i havnt ran it on the track since i did the work.anyway, i dont live near cali (and have no desire to go there) so thank god i guess lol ok so any of these will fit, im assuming some are easier than others but what would one of these cost on average and would you need to swap ecu's with it?

Pretty much with any of them you have to swap everything. The ECU, the tranny, the wiring, the axles, the shiftlinkage. The Bs go in fairly easy. I bet with a better air compressor and the right tools and no mojor snags Sacicons and I could swap a B into one in 3, 3 1/2 hours. Start to finish. It sounds worse then it is to tackle.

I got my whole swap (motor, trans, ecu, and wiring) including shipping for $1600 and its a JDM motor with 35,xxx miles on it.

My wiring is really going to be a pain because I'm wiring in an integra gauge cluster and AC controls since I did the dash swap.

Anyone know if a complete GSR wiring harness will work with a B16 motor?

As long as there the some ODB I think it will work fine. The only real difference will be the dual intake runner stuff.

yeah, and if its more wires than you need, it shouldnt be a problem. if you were to go with a b16 harness on a gsr, then you would have to sort out the wires and add a few.
