Hey, my names Matt and I own a 1999 Honda Civic Lx. I know that it's a four door with only 106 hp, but I really want to know how i can get more. I want my car to be faster... But I don't have a lot of money...can you guys help me out? Thanks a lot in advance!

 

Money = Horsepower. Engine swap, forced induction, nitro, etc. They'll all cost you a pretty penny though.

welcome matt..look around, i know it feels better when people know ur actual situation so ur sure its right but you will find ur answers lookin around.

 

a few mods you could do to your engine if you havnt already done so could be a air filter, full exhaust and maybe some new extractors..

 

those are just about everyones stating mods however it wont make ur car to much faster or give the hp like hes asking, good to let him know where to start tho.

try stuff like milling your valve head like i was told,changed out ur ecu,or maybe port n polish,,just some ideads

ur not really gonna get much without shellin money out..turbo,super, nitrous(tho its bad for the motor),swap,


things like air intakes and exhaust only really start to work after blowers and such are put in and more serious work is done
