Ok all I gotta say is where the love man!!! ROFL!!

xe, you go girl!!!!

And nikki, who the f*ck cares if the car has FI or Nitrous, if it can beat it, it can beat it. only thing that matters is who has the lowest time, not what mods or how much it cost to mod it.

when you daddy go's to the tracks and gets beat does he say "o well your car isnt stock so its not fair"? it doesnt matter if it's f/i or nitrous. as far as the amount of money spending on it to get it fast. my boy bought an 99 SI that had no engine for 1500 and put a B18c5 in it and added a stage 3 turbo and is running 12's. and now counting the car he spent about 7500 and thats probly less then it would be buying a good used car and a stupid camaro

nikki....why would you buy an expensive sports car and spend even more money trying to mod it? also, you keep saying you're looking at a civic because it would be cheaper on insurance, and yet, i'm remembering you posting somewhere that daddy is looking to buy you a brand new civic. a new car, sports or not, is going to be expensive, especially at your age. i would be willing to bet that you could get a camaro that is a few years old and spend the same amount on insurance. and you think that driving in a straight line is fun? where's the challenge? and yes, you can mod a civic for a relatively cheap amount of money because it's such a popular thing to do right now.

basically, i can't understand why you are here. the majority of members here mod their civics to go fast. those are two things you just refuse to believe should and can happen. you keep insulting the car that this whole forum is centered around. if you love your camaros so much, go find a chevy board. i'm sure you'll find plenty of people just like you, even though that isn't a real good thing.

so your civic can run 11s on street tires without f/i or nitrous?

and he's spent no where near that much to get into the 11s. not even half of that, so yeah, if it takes 10k for a civic to get into the 11s then they are expensive to mod
the car i budgeted out will be in the mid to deep tens. id like to see daddy get that low with twice as much as ive budgeted

and i kinda doubt he got a camaro into the 11s with $4,750.

i dont give a crap about how well it turns, going around turns in a little car is no fun to me, but going in a straight line redlining every gear in a muslce car is.
I think the insurance company will give you a discount if you tell them that.

wait, so you're saying that he needs 20k to get into 10s? man you got jokes. the only mods he has are exhaust, headers, lid, gears, cam. you should research ls1's more, because they respond very well(a lot better than civics) do to simple mods. don't believe me? heres a forum for people who are in the 11s with their ls1s http://ls1tech.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=87 go ask them if you dont believe me. a lot of them are running the same type of mods.

like i said before, we have different opinions of what fast is.. anything slower than 13s is slow to me. they CAN be fast cars(with enough money of course) but stock they are far from being fast...even with bolt ons they are still slow.

$7500 to run 12s is a waste of money.

used lt1 = around $4,000 and add a full exhaust and gears = 12s and money left over.

face it, civics are economy cars, not hot rods.
