I still stand by my statement. A stock civic (perhaps an EX) will beat any stock camaro or f-body in real racing that has corners. those powerful domestic cars (excluding corvettes) are only good for a straight line performance.

that's irrelevant to this. we're not talking about how well muscle cars vs hondas can handle, try reading next time, dear.

irrelevant? You don't know what you are talking about, because you think that the ter "faster" only implies a quicker straight line performance. 0-60 is bs. It would be much more usefull if they tested the cars on the ring, not just an idiotic straight line

like i said, anything can be fast with enough money. you could make a metro run 10s, but that doesn't make it good for modding.

a good car for modding to go fast is a car that is already fast to start off with.
id like to say this...ive budgeted my car out...i can garuntee it will beat daddys camaro straightline or in the twisties...and (car price not included) its about 9.5k. dont you DARE say civics are expensive to mod

so your civic can run 11s on street tires without f/i or nitrous?

and he's spent no where near that much to get into the 11s. not even half of that, so yeah, if it takes 10k for a civic to get into the 11s then they are expensive to mod

testing muscle cars on a road track like the ring is like testing a honda in the 1/4... the two don't go together.

when i say faster i am talking about one thing, how fast it can acclerate. i dont give a crap about how well it turns, going around turns in a little car is no fun to me, but going in a straight line redlining every gear in a muslce car is. nothing sounds better(to me) than the deep sound of a v8 at wot.
