I need more power

RE: I need more power
What I intend on doing is getting a CAI, header, high-flow cat, custom 2.25" piping, and a high-flow muffler without the large tip so that it doesn't attract cops with the sound or looks. Plus, I want it to stay fairly quiet on the highway.
BTW, those silencers that you can get restrict the exhaust flow, therefore, they actually defeat the purpose of a high-flow exhaust. Unless you just want the exhaust for on the track, where you can remove the silencer.

RE: I need more power
if you dont want to be loud and noticeable, then you want the Greddy EVO2 (which seems to be the favorite around here.). its nice and quiet, and makes a decent amount of power. on a sohc, it should give about 7-8hp. along with a CAI, header, and a high quality high-flow catalytic convertor, you should see nearly 15-25 hp(depending on the condition of your particular motor.).
cat-back-$450-$500
CAI-$120-$200
cat-$50-$150
these prices should get you some decent quality stuff. check out ebay.
