Hi guys i have a 1996 honda civic coupe SR (i am from the UK) it is a SOHC 16v vtec engined motor (not sure the model of motor) and i think standard it has 125 break horse power. i am wanting to increase it, not hugely with a supercharger or turbo as i cant afford $3k so i am ideally looking to make it as fast as the vti (160 HP) does anyone have any tips??

Start with the basics, intake, header, exhaust. Then move to tweaking the engine, a piggyback ecu could give you up to 50hp. Get your car dynoed(sp) and tuned. thn start lightening. if you get really bored and look through everything in this entire civic forum, you'll get all your questions answered! Good luck!
