My New '95 Civic EX (Pics) - Help me Spend my Money
Well it took me two months of scouring the mid-west looking at Celicas, Civics, and Accords... but I found her. 1995 Civic EX. Have a look.
So, needless to say in the last two months I've read, and lurked, A LOT. So I've got some good ideas about what I should be looking at doing to her. New wheels certainly. Lungs and the other normal beginner mods... but the question I have for the experts is: What is the best way to spend the $2k I've got left? In other words, if you had this stock car, and 2k, what would YOU do? Any/All comments would be greatly appreciated!

i just bought that same car except my civic is teal without the spoiler.
its also automatic.
but anyways, you're car looks great.
Just like you, I haven't done very many mods yet..
just stuff like new muffler and flushing some fluids..
making sure brakes and stuff is okay..
basically all the important stuff..
I'll be moving towards the cosmetic side of things shortly.
I'm just going to start with a tint, definately new speakers and cd player, and nice wheels.
That's pretty much all I can afford at the moment..
any other mods can wait.
btw, where in the midwest are you?
I'm in Kansas City, Missouri.

For the record she is a 5 spd. (Part of why it took me so long. Had to be a coupe, had to be a stick) Also on a side not after tax title and license, I am down to aprrox. $1,500.
Any suggestions on how to do that? I thought the black trim (which is ugly and grandma I agree) might look more 'in place' once I get the Window Tint done. 35% here in St. Louis.
I agree that and I would love to lower it. I'll have to do a search on that, unless someone knows of a good thread off hand.
Looks, with some nice engine mods too. Nothing too crazy. Mostly I am looking to learn.
Also, is that the 'right' spoiler for '95?
More suggestions please!
