Default Need Help with '05 Civic Paint

I'm an idiot!! i got a 2005 civic EX coupe about a month ago. the car's in perfect condition. after I got it, i wanted to remove the dealer sticker from the back of the car. i've done this before so I thought it was is safe. i used a little of bit goof off and water to take out the glue residue from the car's surface. yesterday, after about 3 weeks of doing this procedure, I reliazed that the area where the sticker was has its paint more dull than the rest of the car. i've tried scratch restoration products and wax to bring back the shine but no luck. what other options do I have? should I take it to the dealer and pretend the paint went bad on its own? help!!!
