It was actually pretty easy. it mounted right up. and i was suprised how quick it was for a 40mpg motor. haha, i got high 16's in the 1/4 mile on a pretty much completely stock motor

NEVER EVER Triple Post.

What do you mean looking down? If you really need to watch the RPMs the entire time you drive than you my friend do not know how to drive.

The Tach is made for people who want to pretend they have turbo.

You should also get the CAI that looks like an intercooler, You would be the coolest ever with that

Dang, Nike, stop hating on the guy. I do agree with everyone about the 5" tach, but I don't see how it's a bad thing or a crutch. It's not a cheap little gauge for someone who wants to pretend they've got their car turbo charged either. That's like saying gas gauges are crutches for people who don't know how to keep track of their mileage, speedometers are for people that can't tell how fast the road's moving past them, and temperature gauges are for those who can't tell when smoke's coming out from under their hood. It's just another useful gauge.

thank you neo1, i would just like to know more about my car while im driving it. im not trying to act like i have a turbo. if i wanted to act like that, then i would put a boost gauge on the 3 pod. and having a bigger tach has nothing to do with trying to act like i have a turbo.

Couldn't have put it better. It has nothing to do with not being able to drive stick.

If you're saying having a tach means you don't know how to drive, go to the drag strip, and look and see how many cars have tachs coming up to the line. I'm willing to bet more than half do. It just tells you exactly when to shift so there's absolutely no guess work involved.

THE FUNNY PART IS I DON'T EVEN HAVE AN AFTERMARKET TACH, NEVER HAVE.
