New to this board

Default New to this board

Hey guys, new to this board. But I come from s-series.org. Im a chevy and honda enthusiast. Just recently been offered an 88 crx in pretty good shape that broke a tbelt for $150. So im gonna be starting a project soon. Just thought id say hi and whats up. Been reading through a bunch of posts and everyone seems very friendly at this site.

Welcome aboard man, those CRX's are hot lil numbers if done up correctly. They also tear up the AutoX like no other

yeah im looking to autox the crx for fun, so hopefully ill get some good info out of you guys and maybe i can help out in some way

did it bend the valves when the belt broke?

um i havent checked yet, but i was told that this is an interference engine, unless it broke at top dead center the chances are slim to non that it didnt bend any valves

Either way $150 is a steal!

oh yeah im not complaining one bit, i can fix it for about 100 to 150 and drive it around for a while and enjoy the gas milage... not that my 2.2 s10 does too bad, but still
