Default New Civic Want to Mod just a few questions

Hey guys I just bought a 2004 Civic EX and want to start screwing around with it but first I have a few questions. What can I do without voiding the warrenty? I want to make my ride a little more solid with better handeling, are the rear and front strut bars on ebay that sell for 30 bucks any good, what should I be looking for? In general what are good prices for assessories like spoilers, strut bars, trim pieces for the interior and exterior ect. Thanks!
Kip

welcome to the forum. alot of things you are interested in can be found by searching a specific topic in the forum related to what you have in mind. to answer a couple of things, you should check with your dealer where you got your waranty to know for sure what mods will not void the warantee. most companies that i know of allow for bolt-on exhaust and intake. the sway bars or "strut bars" that sell on ebay will probably work fine, i have a cheap sway bar under my hood and have not experienced any negative side effects from it. and the good side about bolt-on exhaust, intake (short-ram or cold-air) and sway bars can all be removed and restored to factory (with a little bit of wrench time) before bringing to the dealer for work if the warranty does not allow it. feel free to ask questions if you cant find what youre looking for.

in the way of CAI's, the AEM CAI V2 has been dyno proven to be the best. look around to find the one that will fit ur car (the tranny doesnt matter in the way of intakes)

when it comes to CAI for the 04 auto, GOOD LUCK! My girl had an 04 EX coupe automatic, couldn't find a CAI anywhere! Everywhere I looked including AEM (unless they have designed one since I looked) said for M/T ONLY!
