Default New to Imports,

For the past year ive had a 97 camaro RS, and was allabout it and hated imports and tried to race everyone i seen, but then i got tired of all the limitations i cud do to my ride, so while lookin on autotrader a found this beatiuful honda civic about 20 miles away,, traded the camaro in financed it and now ive switched over to the import side. One thing that made me not wanna trade was that the civc was an EX and not an SI,,, no DOHC, so im lookin to do an engine swap or turbo to my current engine, i would really appreciate if i could get some links to some sites to look at swaps and turbos...by the way here is a pic of my new civic,, yall liking?

agreed. engine swaps are a pain in the ***, will take a long time aswell. the best thing to do is get an actual SI. the money for an engine swap is insane too. only problem is, first you got to find what will fit under the hood. i have an '07 SI, very happy with it, hp, everything. Even though im about to be boosted about 40 hp, every man living on earth loves more hp. I say save for an SI, or wait till a new one comes out. or look into the v6 accord coupes, nice cars

just a couple of sites that are pretty good, there are a ton more out there just do a google search. swaps can get kinda pricey, but I wouldn't go as far as to say its a pain in the ***. you could do a b16a swap for about 3000 so it is still a little cheaper to buy an ex or dx and put in a b16 than buying a good si which are gonna be 7 or 8 g's. (I know you can find cheaper si's, but most of them are gonna be beat up and i'm just talking about mint ones with under 100K miles). go for it man, its fun to do these kind of projects.
