Im new to the Civic world and looking for some "tips" or "suggestions" for performance upgrades. Im not looking to take my car to the track but am interested in possibly increasing mpg, maybe a few extra HP or anything along those lines. (yes i am aware increasing HP typically means less HP). I have limited mechanical knowledge so I def need some help in this category. I am also gonna be dropping some $$$ on exterior modifications to clean up the overall appearance of the car. Probably sleek body kit, head lights/ tail lights, rims, and possibly lambo doors. The car is black and will be blacking it all out night rider style. Im not trying to star in the next fast and furious, just looking to have a 100% unique car and turn a few heads. Any advice and/or suggestions are welcome as i am a 100% newbie to the civic and modification world.

 

Aerodynamics will help with fuel economy. I'm not sure about these newer Civics, but you usually can't go wrong with intakes. Look for light weight rims and don't do lambo doors. They're really played out and not cool anymore.

 

yea, lambo doors was just an idea. kinda looked cool, but not sure its worth the $1000 kit. got lots of things to buy for the car and eliminating a quick $1000 wont hurt my feelings 1 bit

 

$1000 will get you a lot more parts that will be more useful.
