Ok, so I'm looking into buying a civic. Today I looked at a Civic Si-G Veloz (Canadian version of the Civic EX i think) and its a 2002 with 180 000km on it. It also needs a new clutch bearing. So I'm going to tell the seller that he needs to replace the clutch bearing, clutch, pilot bearing and throwout bearing or I won't buy the car. ASSUMING he does this. I'm also going to look at a 2000 Civic Si with 108 000km on it that comes with winter tires and rims w/ summer tires on them. Assuming there are no major problems with the car which would be a better buy? The 2002 with 180 000km and new clutch or the 2000 with 108 000 but no new clutch. Thanks!

go with the 2000, the 2001-2005 civics suck for aftermarket support and are known for tranny problems... i'm actually trying to get rid of my 03 right now... stick with the 2000, you won't be sorry.

someone canadian will have to tell you that... i can't blue book the prices, but the older one has less miles on it, so if they're the same price, go with the si

Yes!!

I think the Si is the best option!

You will not repent

Also, i think the SI has 25 Hp´s more than the Civic Si-G Veloz, well herein Mexico is that!

2000 si all the way and heres why.

Less KMS, better aftermarket support. more hp. Better looking IMO.. (in my opinion)

Ok, thanks. My dad says I need to sell my eagle talon (tsi) before I can get another car, but I'm trying to convince him to go look at this civic first.
